According to a research by APA, after-school and extra-curricular programs demonstrate positive results in academic achievement and dropout prevention(APA, 2008; Balfanz & Legters, 2004; Toldson, 2008; U.S. Department of Education, 2006). 

While we aim to prevent school drop out, we will do so through involvement in activities around global warming and climate change which has vital importance, and seems actively to motivate not only marginal students, immigrants or refugees but also the rest of their schoolmates. Moreover, we will provide them with the basic resources to help them interact as equals.  Pupils will take part in workshops, presentations, visit forests, plant trees, make interviews, etc.They will develop research and teamwork abilities and environmental conscience, acquire the action competence or skills of environmental citizenship, become eco-friendly consumers and promote similar behaviour in their family and community, by implementing proenvironmental changes in their lives and becoming ''green'' supporters. 

In each meeting, teachers will gain knowledge about the host school's education strategies, share their experiences, learn from the host country's problems and solutions concerning the environment.  
Parents will open their doors to the guests during the project and they will take the advantage of contact with them. They will also take part in some activities, answer surveys, etc. In this way they will also develop an environmental conscience. We will definitely cooperate with local, regional, national and international NGOs with other Educational Institutions, the Ministry of Education, Municipalities, District Governorships, during and after the project time.
